LaurenceD SUBS 6th Jun 2023		According to Stereo Review (Dec 1987), this was the last recording by the Amadeus Quartet. Violist Peter Schidlof died on Aug 16, 1987. The surviving members announced that they would not attempt to replace him, and the quartet disbanded.
