Magic Marmalade 25th Feb 2023		I've been curious about this (and another Violin / Cello album on Deutsche) which features both Wolfgang Schneiderhan and Janos Starker together... ...As Wolfgang Schneiderhan was apparently a member of the Nazi party during the second world war, and Starker was in a concentration camp for a while, I believe, losing family members while there... ...These facts being so... how the hell do these collaborations happen?!! (I mean, that's got to be an awkward introduction, to say the least, let alone agreeing to play together!) I feel there's got to be a story here somewhere, after all, if they could get past that, are there any differences people cannot overcome? ((Or do I have this wrong somehow?))
