Of course, you're committed now... you'll have to get them all!!!!
But that's the wonderful thing about this site I've found; Since joining I've listened to a much broader range of music than I have in the entirety of my life previously!
Started grabbing stuff in charity shops on the basis that it looks interesting or unusual... either the physical object, or the title or artist, then listening to it when I get back. I find some of it is really rather good.
I'd goo with the earlier date, as these were part of one of those magazine with free CD things: "Watch your collection of the great composers grow... issue 1 on sale now for £1.99p, there-after £20 per issue (Small print)".
There are plenty of them around in the charity shops, but mostly this first one (oddly enough!) don't know how difficult it would be to get the others... but good way to get some essentials.
I bought this from the charity shop completely new and unopened (for the grand sum of 25p) - it seems The Classic Composers was a mail order series. The package I have includes all the leaflets, letter and bumph that came with it. I'll scan the relevant bits (some of it is just unrelated marketing junk mail).
Should the label be Delta Music???
Another query with this is that although the copyright notice says 2002 (well, MMII to be precise), I Googled it and found a conversation on a forum from 2008 where people were saying they had just received these through the post... gone with 2002 for now but possibly some clarification needed at some point.
