| | I'm fine with this as a Netherlands release. I have another Philips LP forthcoming from the same time period, with the same layout, so I'll designate it as NL as well :-) |

The small tiny letters makes it for me clear, made for the UK market.
Normally the text at the bottom is about "This modern record can be played.....etc. in German and English.
Nevertheless, if you add a record the first question is:
"First choose the country the record is from ", and not which country it's exported to.
The whole problem could be solved by adding a extra field (or cell) for the destination of the record, in this case UK.
Or, if the country is the country where the record is issued, the country where the record is made. I can imagine that's a hell of a job (no I,m not DOOM thinking :)
I added a record, made in Holland for the German speaking market (Germany, Austria and a very small part of Belgium), so the country is "Europe"?
It's easier to say "Country = Netherlands" "Destination=Europe" or "International"

| | In truth, it's very likely to be International, including North America and the Southern Hemisphere. Philips', DG's and Decca's European pressings were routinely distributed in the USA and Australia by their respective subsidiaries or licensees, and there were frequently ads in Schwann stating that the pressings were imported. |

Magic Marmalade 9th Oct 2017
| | Hmmm... difficult one actually, as having pulled a lot of Philips discs from sleeves in my quest for early plum coloured Hi-Fi stereos, I see a lot of them, and it's about 50 / 50 of the discs on this red label that I find are made in Holland, and those made in Blighty.
So I'd say the discs of this kind of date were readily available from either country as a matter of course... not special imports or discs gone on adventures outside the established markets.
(I think the same can be said for Philips discs of all flavours: Rock / Pop / Classical etc.)
It could be an early case of "Europe" designation if they were intended to be released in more than one European country (even if it was just a deal done between two countries outside and before EU market rules for manufacture and distribution)
DG and Heliodor have a similar kind of relationship it seems - so perhaps these deals provided a kind of template or prototype model which the EEC / EU later follwed? |

| | Definitely pressed and printed in the Netherlands, but I suppose you could go either way with this one. The reason that I selected UK was based on the back cover text near the bottom (admittedly hard to read in the scanned image), just above "Printed in Holland":
(excerpted) WARNING: Copyright subsists ... Licenses for the use of recordings for public performance may be obtained from Phonographic Performance Ltd., Evelyn House, 62 Oxford Street, London W. 1. |

| | Is the country correct? If you add a record the first line is: "First choose the country the record is from ". The label (and the rear of the cover) is "Made in Holland". |
