I suspect that might have been the case until 1962, when DGG and Philips formed the Grammophon-Philips Group, and from then on UK releases would have been pressed at the Philips factory in Walthamstow (identifiable from the upside-down triangle followed by 420 stamped in the deadwax).
I'll have to have a look out for others and see...
...I know Heliodor made the Deutsche Grammophon releases over here after a while, before which German issues seem to have been imported quite a lot - I do find a few German issues of those -
...I wonder if it may have been the same kind of deal with these... that they just imported the earlier discs from Germany and put them in specially made UK sleeves until they could find someone to manufacture UK made discs.
Might well be how it was issued, MM - in this same period, there were Archive Productions LP's pressed in Germany for US release with covers that had all English text, as well as a US-only catalogue number.
Only through coming to scan this sleeve, I realise that I have a German disc in a UK sleeve.
(Not sure if that warrants separate entries? - maybe if someone else adds the corresponding scans of sleeve and labels here, we can see if UK labels exist separately, or if this was how the UK issued these.)
