@Gill Sans
Hi, yes, i wanted to make sure so i have just asked an older Indian gentleman local to me.
I have added it correctly as it turns out (more by luck than judgement;)
He said that "Mangala Vadyam" is the headline artist here, this is the name given to the orchestra or collective as a whole.
There are quite a few videos on You Tube of "Mangala Vadyam", each album featuring one main lead instrument, here it is the "Nadaswaram", but the album name could equally be "Mangala Vadyam""Flute", it all depends on which instrument takes the lead, or "vocal" equivalent.
He confirmed also that all the names on the back would be part of the orchestra, and each of their names are listed underneath a picture of the particular instrument they play on each track, for example, Adi would play Tablas on track 4 "Amba Vani".
I forgot to ask what the letters after or before some of the artists names signified, perhaps musical training or awards indicators?
Hope that clears (most of) it up, anyhow, cheers
Greg
I wonder if the title should be "Nadaswaram, Mangala Vadyam" or vice-versa, the Nadaswaram being an instrument from the mangala vadyam family of reed instruments. The main artist looks like [various artists] with different artists shown for each track. It would be easier to work out the full details if we knew what the initials T.D.R., A.R., T.S., and M.S. meant.
