October 1959 GRAMOPHONE has a Decca ad for the first 10 (including this one) releases in the "Immortal Masterpieces" series. December 1959 issue has a review, and shows that this was originally released as LXT5461 (January 1959):

"Ansermet's account of the L'Arlesienne suites or rather one and a half of them (two pieces in Suite II are omitted), is a good deal better [than the Markevitch release, BR3006], nice and tight rhythmically and very well recorded. The final Farandole is most exciting. I raised one eyebrow very slightly at Ansermet cutting some of the real L'Arlesienne music and keeping the minuet from Suite II, charming though it is for this was dragged in from the opera La Jolie Fille de Perth after Bizet's death."
