Gill Sans SUBS 22nd Jun 2024		The Cello Suites were introduced to the wider public by Casals when he recorded this set. Suites 2 and 3 were recorded at Abbey Road Studios in 1936, the others in Paris from 1938–9. The set has remained in the EMI catalogue throughout the world ever since, being remastered for vinyl in 1957, and subsequently for CD many times. Individual tracks would have been itemised in a box insert as follows: Suite No. 1 In G Minor Prelude Allemande Courante Sarabande Minuet I / II Gigue Suite No. 2 In D Minor Prelude Allemande Courante Sarabande Minuet I / II Gigue Suite No. 3 In C Major Prelude Allemande Courante Sarabande Bourrée I / II Gigue Suite No. 4 In E Flat Major Prelude Allemande Courante Sarabande Bourrée I / II Gigue Suite No. 5 In C Minor Prelude Allemande Courante Sarabande Gavotte I / II Gigue Suite No. 6 In D Major Prelude Allemande Courante Sarabande Gavotte I / II Gigue
