Classical CD Album
Notes Recorded on 21, 22 August 1990. The Witch of Atlas is based on a poem of the same name by Percy Bysshe Shelley. The Hebridean Symphony comprises 9 tracks (nos. 15-23), which, however, do not bear individual titles. On this, the booklet says (p. 6): "Like the Celtic Symphony it (i. e. the Hebridean Symphony) is cast in one continuous movement, but the division into separate sections is now more obvious, for each section has its own programme."
