 A London Symphony was reviewed today in Building A Library where Mark Lowther narrates that Boult first conducted the work in 1918 and first recorded it, in the presence of the composer, with the LPO, in the 50s.
This is the re-recording from 1971

 Like the PolyGram labels (Decca, Deutche Grammophon, Philips), these "Europe" EMI classical CDs were most likely International releases, given the absence of factories in most countries at that time.
