I'm going to look at the Beethoven tape to learn the secret of Trainman's scans.

 The first rule of Cassette Scanning Club is...

(Incidentally it was another user, not me, who first told us about the clear tape scanning trick...though sadly I cannot remember who! But thanks).

 The "Secret" is in the comments on the Reader's Digest Beethoven set I added yesterday (and now I'll probably get thrown out of "The scanning Gang"

... it may be of use (adaptable for scanning silver embossed text on covers, which never come out well.

 Added new scans now that I learned the trick for scanning clear cassettes (thanks nboldock)
Writing a correction asking to delete the four originals
