...There's one on ebay at he mo for £10.
And rather than write a full review, I'll just say that this is a great recording, which has a very warm and immediate feel, and you can kind of sense that they were set up in a smaller room, and it feels like they are close together, and huddled around you when you listen to these intricate pieces... there is weight to the instrumentation, without being heavy, or overbearing, and it has bags of detail too.
I had an absurdly good day yesterday in the bins (not in the Oscar from Sesame Street kind of way)... discounts at a couple of charity shops helped me walk away with all of those 10" I just entered, and this, but I've got a couple Colubia SAX, His Master's ASDs, a rather ancient, but brilliant looking Supraphon, and a couple of others to come too :)
-- One place also had a 5 CDs for a pound going on, which I had to ask the chap if I was seeing things! - so naturally I got a fistful of digipaks and a couple of promos to boot - I am going back there armed with a wedge of bacon flavoured fivers:) --
