Likely reissued due to the change in size, from 10" discs to 12", such as this... although whether they used the same cover design, cat, etc. may be a different thing.

(There's probably a 10" of this lurking out there somewhere in disguise :)

I'll have to go with April 1954 for this, as the Decca discography doesn't list this catalogue number at all - this seems to be a reissue of recordings made in 1949 and 1951. I'll send a correction.

With regard to the dates on the covers, I believe Decca changed those with each printing, unlike EMI who I think retained the original dates on subsequent pressings (but that is admittedly based on limited experience).

I'm happy for you to change the dates on anything I enter if you have the info to hand...

I was going by the dates on the flip-backs, and seeing how this squared with the rest of the catalogue numbers- if it slotted in well at that date -

:)

The Gramophone of April 1954 lists this amongst "April Records". (If you're wondering, I just took out a digital subscription to Gramophone, including their entire digitised archive).

The main reason I got this was because it had the labels with the gold print on orange, rather than the later, and more usual silver print on orange; And so there would be an example on site.

... I also got another Decca LXT at the same time (which I've entered at the same time), firstly, because it was there with this, and secondly, because that has silver print on orange labels, so I thought it would make a nice comparison...

...But as both prints are reflective / metallic, it can be hard to distinguish between the two, even with the naked eye, in certain lighting conditions... Here I had to adjust the scan a little for this to be visible, by pulling down the brightness and contrast a tad.
