Gill Sans SUBS 6th Nov 2021		The Priory PRCD 700 series contains 23 CDs by 23 different church and chapel choirs, and encompasses all 540 hymns from The New English Hymnal. I am including the names of the tunes, and the composers of each track, as shown in the accompanying booklets, which have detailed notes on the hymns and settings. Where the Hymnal has different settings of a hymn I show this in parenthesis. In this volume the hymns are taken at a slow pace which can make them somewhat lugubrious when listening at home in a non-reverberant setting, but there are always a few that work for me at this speed, such as Orlando Gibbons' hymn O Thou Who At Thy Eucharist Did Pray:
