 Hymn 489, "The National Anthem", was first published in The Gentleman's Magazine, October 1745 in a setting by by Thomas Arne called "God Save Great George Our King". Here, all three verses are sung as "God Save The Queen"
Hymn 30, "O Come, All Ye Faithful", here includes an organ descant by David Willcocks.
Hymn 152, "Creator Of The Earth And Sky", is here sung to the alternative tune "St Gregory", which is given as the 2nd tune to Hymn 1: The 1st tune, the Plainsong, is used on Volume 3
Hymn 33, "Of The Father's Heart Begotten", here has Verse 7 set to a descant by Ian Ball.
