 Thanks.

As far as the colors, what really prompted me to make that remark was the fact that the actual color to the naked eye of the label I scanned was somewhere in between the label The Judge posted and the scan I got out of mine!

 By the way, great work entering all these classical titles Trainman (and a couple of others who have contributed so much).

 I begin to think this happens because the "grain" of the label's texture is cut a different way from one side to the other, and so although t appears the same colour to the naked eye, it reflects light from the scanner back at a different angle, so that less makes it back tot he scanner on one side than the other, causing it to read a slightly different light frequency (or something along those lines!)

I think color difference is just in label stock rather than an actual variation.
This is a "Sansui QS" system quadraphonic album
