Springboard was a relatively well-known US "Budget" label in the 1970's. They eventually went bankrupt and the catalog was acquired by Gusto.
Think of Somebody along the lines of "Pickwick"

Many thanks for the information. I tried looking also and drew a blank. Not an album I shall keep, so it may end up in the local charity shop. Thanks again.

mind you... I could be wrong.

Can't find any search results for Stanislav Klinsky or the Rostov Festival Orchestra outside of references to this very record, and a couple of others by them on this label.

There is one on ebay with a cover pic (not yours is it?) but no date visible on it.

Well, when it comes to classical in general, I've Only Just begun... indeed, I'm like a virgin...

So Only just getting into the main food groups of classical: Deutsche Grammophon (German press, Decca Wide Band Stereos, HMV, and Philips (Dutch)... but did a search on google, and it seems this label is a New Jersey late 60s start up company, that pressed records of all kinds (saw a staple singers one).

Not sure if they were a bit of a fly-by night company, or more charitably, an entrepreneurial effort by a couple of hopefuls, but don't think they are especially renowned or prized, mainly a re-issues company... so this performance more than likely appears on some other issue by another label.

Given this album (with others) a few years ago. Probably a good performance. The album is in mint condition but a really bad recording. Sounds like someone had a microphone stuck to a television speaker!! Unless of course, it's a really old performance. Anyone any ideas.??
