Interesting to note that IMDb shows "Comedy" as the first genre for this film (I didn't use it here). While there is some satire, I find the word "comedy" to be inappropriate. Other reviewers note the scary impact the Tuesday Weld character has. Sure, she's the bright cheerleader with the "ideal" mother driving her shiny new car, but underneath the glitter and brightness there is a creeping sense of evil. Arsenic (also 'visual' arsenic) comes to mind. Some of the images and characters may haunt one long after viewing. Morph these characters a little, and one could come up with a later film, Natural Born Killers. Also memorable, but also not a comedy in my opinion.

Pretty Poison also has a (pointless) remake.

 Only just drag this one out and Watched the other day. Great Film both Tuesday and Anthony were Brilliant In this. Well worth Looking for. H.
