DVD
Notes This new version makes do without the voice-over storytelling of Deckard (Harrison Ford), and above all shows how the romance between Deckard and Rachael (Sean Young) develops and lacks the 'uplifting' finale. The result has an elevated emotional impact: a grand film, even grander. The most stimulating of all is the new 'unicorn' vision, suggesting Deckard might be a hominid. Do androids dream of electric sheep? Is Deckard a replicant? As with so many things from the future, you will have to provide the answer yourself.
