 Complete cover scans (including front cover variant) and label scans added. My copy is published by Fox Video alone (not CBS/Fox Video), and has the same identical catalogue number and barcode number. Dolby Surround Stereo.

 @GEMSMFAN. I watched It on Laserdisc. and It was Great. You could hire a Player and films for the Night. The player was a Philips top Loader Like loading a record on to a Player. You had to Turn the disc over to see the rest of the Film. I Think the Player was £10 and the Disc's were a Average of £1 for the Doubles and £0.89p for the Singles. Great Days. H.

 This was the original movie as shown in 1977, before the remastering, re-editing, scene changes and special effects updating that was done when this went back to the theatres and later what was released on a then new DVD format, as Episode 4 "A New Hope".

The laserdisc was first released in Full (Standard) Screen format with same cover photo, but minus the top black/grey banner. This was because most viewers preferred a complete picture verses one with the top and bottom black bars which meant a wider, but smaller TV picture.
