Jimmy Rabbitte is a man with a dream... bring soul music to Dublin. When his friends Derek and Outspan ask him to manage their band, he agrees, but on his terms only.
He puts an add in the local paper simply stating : "Do you have soul? If so: The Hardest Working Band of the World is looking for you". And thus the Commitments were born.
