 Interesting about the let it be segment it's actually the single mix not from the movie itself

 I copied my VHS of this to a hard-drive to view at leisure. The first "take" was made from the VHS with the linear stereo audio track, but there was a visual glitch when George Martin was talking about the track, A Day In The Life. When I got the newer copy, still on VHS but with a hi-fi stereo audio track, I made a new "take" which had no visual glitch at the point where the first copy had it. The newer copy came up very good indeed.

 You could class this as a younger viewers guide to the Beatles thirteen years later The Beatles tell all documentary The Beatles Anthology was more in depth of their music career the word compleat is a play on the word beat as in Beatles all though it's worth a look

 Remarkable! The slick for this DVD is very similar to the original VHS format tape, which had a linear stereo audio track. I wonder. Was the image re-designed to fit 16:9 screens or did they leave it in its original 4:3 aspect ratio, as it was originally made as a TV documentary. That is how I first bought this, on VHS with linear stereo audio. Just a few years back I acquired a new copy, this time with the hi-fi stereo audio, the sound quality only marginally better. Some years back I picked up a VHS recorder that played and recorded in linear stereo. I bought it for the princely sum of $5 at a recycling centre. It still worked to I was able then, for the first time to hear the stereo audio and the linear system gave a good account of itself. The doco, by the way, dates from 1982, even if the DVD is newer.
