ady_lister 15th Jul 2022		DVD The Private Life Of Henry VIII - The Film Detective (2015)	Not a recommended edition. Duped by the good cover art but its a DVD-R disc with cropped off titles at the start and generally bad quality. I know this film looks better. There's a Criterion Edition but its only available as part of a reasonably expensive Korda Box Set.
ady_lister 21st May 2022		Blu-ray Michael Jackson's: This Is It - Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (2010)	I'm not sure if this was available commercially and was a giveaway if you registered a Sony Bravia TV and applied online for it. You also got 'Bolt 3D' and a 3D Demo disc.

ady_lister 13th May 2021		Blu-ray Box Set Kevin Smith: 3 - Movie Collection (2009)	'Clerks' and 'Chasing Amy' are Region Free. 'Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back' is Region A locked.
ady_lister 13th May 2021		Multi-Format Citizen Kane - Warner Home Video (2011)	The 'Citizen Kane' Blu Ray and 'The Battle Over Citizen Kane' DVD are Region Free. The 'RKO 281' DVD is Region 1 locked however. There is a 'Rosebud' Card folder with various pieces of ephemera including posters, lobby cards, contracts, correspondence between Wells and the Studio etc... and a reproduction program. It's a very nice package. The 20 or so scans are beyond the limit of my endurance I'm afraid.
ady_lister 9th May 2021		DVD Tiny Toon Adventures: Looney Links! - Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (2013)	This is Season 4 of 'Tiny Toon Adventures'. There was a quality issue with this where episode 'Weekday Afternoon Live' on disc 2 played a duplicate sequence from episode 'Toon TV' on disc 1. The corrected disc 2 has '7000052719.2 in the rim.
ady_lister 9th May 2021		DVD Tiny Toon Adventures: Crazy Crew Rescues! - Warner Bros. Home Entertainment (2013)	This is Season 3 of 'Tiny Toon Adventures' which Warner seems to have just thrown out not keeping in line with the previous releases and giving it a silly title which relates to nothing.

I can find absolutely no reference to it ever being referred to in English by that title.

ady_lister 4th Mar 2021		DVD The Silent Duel - Yume Pictures (2007)	Don't know why Yume Pictures translated the title to 'The Silent Duel' as the Japanese translates more closely as 'Quiet Duel' and every source I can find calls it 'The Quiet Duel'.
ady_lister 4th Mar 2021		Blu-ray Box Set From The Minds Of The Coen Brothers - MGM (2011)	I have elected not to put the title in braces: '{From the Minds of the} Coen Brothers' as I assume it may mess up any search. Feel free to correct if you think it should be as written on the packaging. 'Blood Simple' is Region A but the other 3 discs are Region Free.

Factory (2003)	There are quite a lot of budget DVD 'You Bet Your Life' compilations out there seemingly as a lot of the series is now in the Public Domain. This and the subsequent 'Best Episodes' set are the only authorised collections from Groucho Marx Productions and NBC.

ady_lister 28th Jun 2018		DVD Box Set The Wicker Man - Warner Home Video (2002)	I went to a screening of this at the BFI back in 2000. There was a panel with Christopher Lee and Q&A at the end. It was a massive sell-out so me and my friend showed up early to try and get two of the 10 'stand-bys' the BFI held back for every screening. Of course, when we got there - the queue was about a mile long. (I think there's footage of this on the docu extras). So we waited patiently expecting to be disappointed... After about half an hour, the queue suddenly started moving. It seems that the invited cast and crew members - who weren't that fussed in seeing the film gave up their seats to allow more members of the public in. My and my friend ended up 4 rows from the front sat next to Ingrid Pitt!
