kab2112 SUBS 24th Oct 2020		DVD Sleepers - Universal (2001)	Rated 10/10 Great storyline - superb acting all round. What more can you say. This is one of my wif'e's favourite films. This has some light and some very dark moments, based on a tue story from Hells Ktchen in NYC. When we went to New York in 2013, we visited the area that this was based.on and had a good walk around. Well worth seeing. I'm not a huge Kevin Bacon fan but he is superb in this as are all the other big name stars including Brad Pitt, Minne Driver, Jason Patric, Dustin Hoffman, Robert De Niro. 6 people found this review helpful. ✔︎ Helpful Review?

When I was a very young kid in the 1950's these Flash Gordon serials were show in the picture houses (in Glasgow) . I used to go to the "Pictures" every week. Loved Flash Gordon.

kab2112 SUBS 29th Jul 2020		DVD Box Set The Classic:- The Lone Ranger Box Set Volume 1 - Classic Entertainment (2005)	I used to watch this on TV after we got our first TV in 1956. Apparently the first episode was broadcast on TV in the USA on 15th September 1949. Watched this box set a couple of years ago purely for nostalgic reasons, although I do like westerns.
