Quad5point1 29th Jul 2016		Multi-Format The Beatles And World War II - Gonzo Multimedia (2016)	Initial impressions of the movie aren't great. It has been changed around quite a bit with a new opening sequence, some of the music titles dropped and the footage used is unrestored. I had started to compile the movie myself and have virtually all the clips required to make a faithful reproduction of the original movie using restored and remastered footage, but I put it on hold pending this release. The whole flow and synchronicity of the movie has been totally lost. The relationship between the music and the footage is gone and it seems to be a less thought out concept than the original. Looks like I will just have to carry on now and finish my own project

Quad5point1 2nd Jul 2016		DVD We're Doomed!: The Dad's Army Story - Dazzler Media (2016)	John Sessions Arthur Lowe/Capt Mainwaring in this is actually very good, the rest of the platoon actors were a bit hit and miss with possibly the exception of Michael Cochrane playing Arnold Ridley / Pte Godfrey. Richard Dormer and Paul Ritter were excellent as Perry & Croft as was Keith Allen as Head of BBC, Paul Fox. Overall a very pleasant way to spend an hour
