wax_museum ● 1st Mar 2025		DVD The Gift [2000] - Columbia TriStar (2001)	Rated 10/10 Excellent supernatural x murder thriller. Probably the first time to see Keanu Reeves in a baddie role. Blanchett plays a single mum who does tarot card readings on the side. She also dreams, which leads police to the location of a murder victim, implicating Reeves. With Blanchett having doubts, it becomes a whodunnit case. ✔︎ Helpful Review?

wax_museum ● 20th Jan 2025		DVD The Ring [2002] - DreamWorks (2003)	Rated 7/10 I first saw the Original Japanese version then the Hollywood remake. The original is far better even with the subtitles to contend with. Perhaps it was because it was more creepy the first time, but overall I felt the Japanese actors did it in a less “dramatic frills” way which made it easier to relate to the characters. 1 person found this review helpful. ✔︎ Helpful Review?
