Druvar 17th Nov 2016 | | Video GameSplat! - Incentive Software Ltd. (1983) | ReviewI remember this had a prize you could win if you completed it. Not much chance of that, crazy difficult at later levels. That kind of novelty you would associate with subpar games but this was a unique and frantic game that for sure is in my top 50 ZX Spectrum games. It even had synthesised speech which must have been a first for the Zilog Z80 computers?
Incentive Software were surely underrated, see also Millionaire (strategy game) and Mountains of Ket, the best ZX adventure game (OK after The Hobbit).

Druvar 21st Sep 2016 | | Video GameStar Wars - Atari (1983) | I spent lots of money on this as a kid. Just great fun, absolutely perfect controls and a sound system that you could hear above the rest of the arcade's bleeps and bloops.

Druvar 11th Aug 2016 | | Video GamePole Position - Namco (1982) | It was really great at the time. It seems nothing much playing it on a modern emulator, but it was great fun playing the "sit down" arcade machine with steering wheel and foot pedals.
