The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition - Bethesda Softworks LLC (2016)
Lee, I'm currently hooked on The Witcher 3, which is so gigantic it makes Skyrim look like a shoebox in comparison

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition - Bethesda Softworks LLC (2016)
I finally bought this a few weeks ago. I have now racked up almost 200 in-game days of play.

It's immense in every way. I am completely addicted. Just an amazing game. The scale of it is beyond belief. I should add I have been an Elder Scrolls fan since the very first game (Arena) way back in the mists of time...

Forza Motorsport 4 - Microsoft Studios (2012)
That ought to go in the notes so the titles still link up. Amended.

Uncharted 4: A Thief's End - Naughty Dog (2016)
Just got this, been playing it a lot... it's superb. Graphically stunning. Gameplay is marvellous and the way it moves between cut scenes and gameplay is absolutely brilliant. Great storyline. Great scripting, great acting. Just... great really!

Stuck on a mega-hard bit at the moment though so having a break from it...

IK+ - System 3 Software (1987)
Another one I spent hours on! The C64 was my first proper computer (previously owned an Atari 2600) and I had it for quite a while - even upgrading to a disc drive and making a couple of rudimentary games myself (I made a computer version of the TV show Catchword, and made some significant progress on my own Rugby League Manager, which sadly never got finished). IK+ was a favourite, everyone had it...

Arkanoid - Imagine (1987)
My mate Mel had a "Speccy" (as the 48k was affectionately known) and we must have wasted hours and hours and hours playing Arkanoid... it was ace!

I used to go round to his house on a Sunday, we'd play computer games and then watch Ski Sunday... as you do.

No Man's Sky - Hello Games (2016)
I was really excited about this when I read about it before it was released. What a brilliant concept - for those who don't know, No Man's Sky is a mathematically generated universe which can be freely explored and is virtually infinite in size. Mind boggling.

However... reviews are not favourable and I've been put off buying it as I suspect I'll be disappointed.

Shame. However it's only a matter of time before something similar comes out, with more success. I hope.

Galaxian - Namco (1979)
Very fond memories of this one - when I was a lad I used to go swimming with my dad and afterwards we were always allowed to have a go on this on the arcade machine in the cafeteria. I was absolutely entranced by it :-)

Watch Dogs - Ubi Soft (2014)
The copy I have came with the console (though I bought it off someone else) and hence doesn't have a barcode ("Not To Be Sold Separately"). I'm assuming the rest of the details are the same as the retail version so if someone else can add the barcode (and cover variant) at some point...

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Bethesda Softworks LLC (2011)
Good point.

Bear in mind at the moment titles are linked automatically, and if you look at the bottom I've added a "Series" meta-data link to this which can be used to link the various Elder Scrolls games together.

Also note we're still in Beta on this world so there could still be changes/tweaks as we go along.

Halo 3 - Microsoft Game Studios (2007)
There's quite a strong argument for this, to be fair. I'd say the developer was probably as important as the publisher - if not more so.

Asteroids - Atari (1982)
I liked this too, and did have it, though I can't remember what the cartridge looked like. But I played it a lot, as I recall (vaguely).

Brilliant to see these 2600 games again. Happy memories!

Topical front cover there - Steve Davis has just retired from snooker (and is now a techno DJ - I kid you not) and Ronnie has just been knocked out of the World Championships.

Lands Of Lore III - Electronic Arts (1999)
I think this is the original edition (in large box). This was one of three large box PC games I bought last year in a charity shop - the others I sold on Ebay, this one I kept, though I haven't played it as yet.

Further scans to follow.

Sonic Rivals - Sega (2006)
Only played this once. Basically you hold a button down and hope for the best while the screen whizzes along far too fast to be able to actually react to anything. And that's about it. Not good.

Thief - Square Enix (2014)
This is actually the fourth game in the series despite being titled simply "Thief" for this next-gen reboot. I'm actually still playing this as I haven't finished yet (I think I'm only about half way through in fact). Really enjoying it so far. Graphically, it's absolutely sumptuous especially in the outdoor sections where you can just pause and admire the views at times. Gameplay-wise, it's still a stealth-based game though there are a few areas where it's virtually impossible to progress via stealth alone and a rather more heavy-handed approach is called for (some fans weren't happy with this, though it suits me fine). Great game.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - Ubi Soft (2002)
One of my top three games of all time without a shadow of a doubt (the others being Deus Ex and The Last Of Us... the latter the winner by a country mile).

I've been a fan of The Elder Scrolls series since the first game (Arena) which I used to play on my old 486 PC - it was on 3.5" floppy discs and was brilliant. Morrowind is of course a significant step up from the earlier games, the graphics are wonderful and the scale of the thing is absolutely vast - I've never had the time to get anywhere near completing the main storyline (not that you have to if you don't wish to... it's as much fun just wandering around exploring, really) or exploring more than a fraction of the huge world available to wander around.

Fantastic stuff.

(I seem to have lost the booklet so no cover scan for that, sorry... no doubt someone will add at some point).
