I have the next in the series which is Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust [2009] and it's Codemasters. Boy there's just so many names you wouldn't know for sure what's what

That's the company who first released the Leisure Suit Larry franchise and their name is still prominent on the disc itself. I just added Leisure Suit Larry: Love For Sail which was number 7 in the series and it's Sierra

Quad5point1 ● 21st Jun 2021 | | Video GameHeretic - GT Interactive Software (1996) | Yep, it's the first time I'd ever heard about it, been delving into Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Wolfenstein etc. Those games were way ahead of their time, I think i'm going to be busy for a while running through them. Out of interest did you know about the BBC Archive here. I've been having some fun with that as well. Brings back many happy memories. It was great to have been in at the birth of all this stuff, just magic. I have to say the games you've been posting I haven't heard of the half of them, you must have some collection, I'm slightly jealous TBH.

Quad5point1 ● 20th Jun 2021 | | Video GameElite - Acornsoft (1984) | I have to agree with you Folker, I found Elite totally unplayable, which, after all the hype I was very disappointed in it. I very quickly put it on the shelf and never went near it again. It gets a very low rating from me, all style, hype and no substance, oh, and the packaging was good, far better than the contents

Quad5point1 ● 17th Jun 2021 | | Video GameColossal Adventure - Level 9 (1983) | I remember these particular issues from Level 9. Like you said "All very home brewed" and indeed if you check out the address on the packaging via "Google Earth" it's just a normal home on a normal street and definitely not business premises. The story I heard was that it was 2 brothers and their dad, don't know if that's true or not. Curiousity got the better of me and if you check out other comapnies who were issuing BBC computer games 9 times out of 10 they are all normal houses. A lot of great software coming out of peoples bedrooms back then, happy days indeed. Nice to see another fellow Beeb user uploading games.
