Previously a club owned by boxer Terry Downes.
Bought by Vince Power in 1981
Opened December 9th 1982
Restaurant added in 1986
Acoustic stage added 1987
Closed 9th December 2000 - final gig was The Men They Couldn't Hang.
Used by Mean Fiddler Group as offices for two years
Reopened as "The Old Fiddler" in 2003
Sold in 2005 deal with other Mean Fiddler venues to Clear Channel (later Live Nation)
Closed and sold to Mama Group (owners of the Barfly chain) in 2007.
