Built 1958 to 1960 ready for the Summer Olympics 1960.
Named 'Palazzo dello Sport' or (informally 'PalaSport' or 'PalaEUR' (so mistakenly Palaeur can occur!)) until late 1990's when large expantion and renovations over a few years by Lottomanica company lead to latest name.
It has been PalaLottomanica since 2003.
