The Song Loft Story, short version.
Folk club started around 1976 and moved to a few different sites all in Stony Stratford.
In Sep 1977 'Folk At The Crown' in the towns' Market Square.
Two years later a move to the Cock Hotel, High Street, meant a name change to 'Stony Stratford Folk Club'.
In Oct 1980 the less tied to a location name of 'The Song Loft' was adopted, and much later in the mid 2010's another move to The York House Centre had the club retain the now well established title.
