Cellophane Flowers - The Beatles Revisited - Biography

Cellophane Flowers is a trio of experienced musicians interpreting The Beatles’ work in a new, refreshing way focussing on the vocals - only accompanied by one guitar.

Guitarist/singer Alex Eberhard (All Things Must Pass: Celebrating The Music Of George Harrison) joins forces with Lucy Pickering and Rachel Myer to explore the vocal possibilities in the Lennon/McCartney catalogue.

Alex Eberhard thought of the idea of Cellophane Flowers (the name comes from The Beatles’ song “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds”) as a little side project from The All Things Must Pass Orchestra. The original idea was to form a trio with two of the All Things Must Pass Orchestra backing singers, but that changed and Alex is now singing with two new singers, Lucy Pickering and Rachel Myer.

“Because” by Cellophane Flowers.
