Stuart Frobisher's vocal style and lyric writing showed a strong Billy Bragg influence, whilst the guitar style was more classic rock oriented than most early 90s indie rock. Their original songs included 'Black Plastic Gadget', and their live set usually closed with their version of the Clash's 'Should I Stay or Should I Go'. The band recorded one short collection of demos at Strawberry Studios in Stockport. and notably performed an ill-advised non-stop 24-hours gig in support of charity at Nottingham University. The Windy Millers probably peaked at their 1991 slot supporting Kingmaker and The Wonderstuff. They split shortly afterwards on the departure of Stuart Frobisher. » Latest edits by matthewwood : Biography Credits Uber Eats Music Hall ![]() Venue Opened in 2018 as Verti Music Hall.
