Graham7 26th Jun 2015		Live Music Glastonbury 2015 (Friday) @ Worthy Farm (2015)	Plenty to watch on TV this weekend, I will add the rest of the weekend's line-up later. Florence + The Machine moved up the bill to replace Foo Fighters who had to cancel following Dave Grohl's broken leg. Still waiting for confirmation of who is 2nd on the Pyramid Stage bill, it seem likely to be The Libertines... we shall see.

Graham7 28th Mar 2015		Live Music Ian Hunter @ Running Horse (1997)	Gig report (not mine). This was great, maybe 200 people rammed into a room, band on a stage maybe 6 inches high. Saw a number of lesser known bands there, names/dates long forgotten... Think admission was around £10.

Loads of tickets and flyers can be seen. Apparantly Phil played this gig with10 stitches above his eye after being hit with a bottle the previous night in Southampton. I didn't know that till just now. They were superb!

Was all set to add as dated on ticket, but I checked - they had to do TOTP and other promotion when My Oh My became a huge hit. Graham7 27th Mar 2015		Live Music Brave Tales @ The Star Hotel (1984)	I wonder what they were like too, and I was there! (according to the fact I kept this ticket, #54.) Punk/Goth sprung to mind - I looked elsewhere, and all I can find is that at least one member of Brave Tales was in Moonbats ..
Graham7 26th Mar 2015		Live Music Glastonbury 1995 (Saturday) @ Worthy Farm (1995)	There was a huge mass of people heading for the tent after Orbital. We gave up and went back to watch Pulp. I've a vague memory of Evan Dando trying to play, standing on top of a bus(?), earlier in the day perhaps after he arrived too late/wasted for his 2:30 slot? Added scan of the music listings for the day, to help us get our bearings... it was 20 years ago, and a very hot day! I'm going to add Avalon Stage listings, and will do for the other days.

Graham7 20th Mar 2015		Live Music Oasis @ Sheffield Arena (1995)	So, Glastonbury 1995 (replacing Stone Roses) wasn't the first time Pulp filled in. I see nobody's attempted adding any Glastonbury Festivals yet, just a place in Connecticut so far!
Graham7 19th Mar 2015		Live Music U2 @ Odeon (1982)	Don't know where I got "conference centre" from, birminghammusicarchive (with some 70s-80s ticket scans) has it being converted into an 8 screen cinema in 1988. And on the same site "The day the music died" a TV news item from 1987 about its closure as a live venue. Regarding the gig itself, I've found my gig list that I kept between 1980 and 1985, when I (stupidly) stopped updating it. It shows The Set as support, so I've added it. However, U2gigs.com lists The Alarm as support. Maybe they both appeared, but that's what I wrote down in 1982 , so I say I'm right, until shown otherwise. Both bands are shown there as appearing on this leg of the War tour, which is referenced as the pre-tour War tour.

Graham7 15th Mar 2015		Live Music Jimi Hendrix @ The Star Hotel (1967)	See (partial) set list at Jimi Hendrix Encyclopedia where ticket scans for other Feb 1967 shows at The Roundhouse and Chelmsford Corn Exchange can be seen. I added this venue because I went there in 1984, having researched it, (by looking in my copy of "Rockin' Croydon 1960-1980" by Chris Groom) should I rename venue (The) Star Hotel.? John Mayall, Jethro Tull, Small Faces and Cream also played there. The Yardbirds had a 20 date residency, Nov 1963 - May 1964.
