Venue was full. The support act (Toy Dolls) didn't show up so the Upstarts drummer Decca Wade did a 20 minute drum solo for charity instead.

 Not quite accurate. Discharge were advertised as support for this gig. The Toy Dolls supported the Upstarts at the Digbeth in May 1982, and again at the Golden Eagle in March 1983. I was at all of these gigs.
