Dennis Lee Galetti 23rd Nov 2019		actually on feb. 7th 1959, i was in spring valley. my high school is there. the 3 people that subbed were dion; franki avalon; and jimmy clanton. jimmy came to our high school on sat. morning and sang for app. 45 minutes ( no charge). i asked jimmy about this on facebook; he said "it seems like yesterday."



kab2112 SUBS 6th Apr 2015		I watched a documentary on SKY Arts last night about Buddy Holly, and the shows actually continued ("the show must go on" attitude), with Waylon Jennings singing in place of Buddy Holly, and other artists drafted in at short notice.
