nboldock 23rd Dec 2023		David is lovely, I've promoted a couple of his gigs in the UK and he's stayed at my house. He's a top guy. Also a great songwriter and a much better guitarist than he gets credited for I think.



Lee Wrecker 30th Sep 2023		nboldock yes I did go to the gig and had a hand in organising it. Seems on his website he mentioned he was coming to Australia and we rather cheekily invited him to play the Swamp (a kind of outlier artists group that have a house converted into a studio art space). He was lovely and gladly (?) accepted to be paid donations collected at the door. No PA just a live in the living room vibe. He was of course much better than what we deserved or could offer but he hung around for a chat afterwards and seemed to be happy with how it all turned out. We were all actually stunned an artist of his renown accepted our offer. Last night I played the same venue with fire twirlers in tow but that's a different story and it was a very different style of music (more of a Beefheart, Marvin Pontiac inspired type of improv). I won't be entering this one the gigs page though.
