 Deep Purple didn't show. They cancelled at the last minute because they were on Top of The Pops. Bastards! The concert promoters - The Hull Brick Company - offered a full refund if the audience left or a partial refund if they stayed and just watched Quintessence, which most did. They were marvellous!
