Notes

This was the third concert and last concert in South Africa part of a 10 day concert tour. Other cities were:- Johannesburg, Cape town,Durban and Port Elizabeth. This tour was cut short when Dusty was served with a deportation order after ignoring two official warnings to stop singing to multi-racial audiences. Three days later Dusty Springfield, Vic Billings (manager) and The Echoes were escorted to the airport to fly back to Britain.

Douggie Reece 2nd Mar 2023		The first concerts were in Johannesburg the venue escapes me. Probably the dates were the 11th and 12th of December 1964.
Douggie Reece 27th May 2021		This was the third and last concert in South Africa part of a 10 day concert tour. Other cities were:- Johannesburg where they had performed two previous concerts, Cape Town. Other commitments in Durban and Port Elizabeth were not met. This tour was cut short when Dusty was served with a deportation order after ignoring two official warnings to stop singing to multi-racial audiences in Cape Town.. Three days later Dusty Springfield, Vic Billings (manager) and The Echoes were escorted to the airport to fly back to Britain.
