 I was at this show - totally agree. I saw GYBE's first UK gig at the Garage a year or so earlier...they were all packed on a smallish stage with a low ceiling, and the sound was reduced to an outward sonic blast more akin to a Hawkwind gig.

The Union Chapel allowed the whole show to really reverberate and breath. There was one particular track where, coupled with the epic crescendo-ing of Godspeed, for a number of minutes the projection screens showed on rotation a dog rolling around against a black background, as if it were falling through space. Little in the much visited realm of post-rock ever touched this peak again.
