saladdays 27th Sep 2022		My friends and I were planning to see The Dead and the Shrine Exposition Hall that night, but the concert had been cancelled. We met a guy who told us that Mayall was playing at The Bank in Torrance. There we went. CTA (later Chicago) were already into their first set upon arrival. Highly impressed. Mayall featured Mick Taylor on lead guitar just a few months before he quit to join the Stones. Great concert. Tickets were probably around $5.
