rocket666 27th Oct 2023		???? Beatles at Star Club, Hamburg 13 Apr to 31 May 1962. Had a very quick look at their gigs list!!!



Shadnor SUBS 27th Oct 2023		Jim Nugent Mark J Daniels: I was at the Liverpool Empire on Tuesday 24th April, along with my brother, to see that show. Bruce had been taken ill and the group had Peter Carter from the Checkmates on rhythm guitar. That week in variety was Lic’s second performance with The Shadows. I am as certain as I can be that 24th was the night that The Beatles were up in a box watching the show, along with Brian Epstein. There was only one box occupied and the occupants were a group of young men, one wearing glasses.
