chrisb 25th Nov 2021		The date for this event at Benjamin Britten’s Aldeburgh Festival is still not known, but it has now been narrowed to sometime in June 1970. Stackridge's performance included a specially commissioned recorded 'visual poem' for the Festival. Gig took place at Snape.(Maltings?) Added a scanned excerpt from The Granary Club (in Bristol) July 1970 monthly Events Newsletter which refers to this event. From this excerpt it’s not clear if Stackridge actually performed, or merely recorded a specially commissioned work for First Light. Later edit: I now have the 100 page programme for this Festival (events took place from 5th to 28th June) - but unfortunately there is no reference to either Stackridge or First Light, so this offers no clarification on this appearance.
