Drowning Pool was scheduled to perform but Dave Williams (lead singer) had died just two weeks prior so they cancelled and was replaced with Tommy Lee and his band (yuck; my opinion.)

 Sharon Osborne had been diagnosed with cancer prior to this event and Ozzy took the opportunity to announce to the crowd that she was in remission. The crowd cheered enthusiastically. Me included.
