 Quote “My father Harry Allchin was the general manager of the Grand theatre in the years just after the war. We then lived in Powis Square and every Sunday morning we would walk down to watch the rehearsals for the coming weeks show. Little did we know then that some of the young people appearing would become international mega stars! Petula Clark was a huge favourite of mine when she was just into her teens. “
