it was not an exact replica as American stars did not turn up due to other commitments so a hastily arranged stage show after the film performance was arranged and Petula performed a skit with actors Jack Hawkins and James Hayter featuring “Watching an ‘ole in the road”,”Little Polly Perkins” with Petula singing “It’s a great big shame”
