Great hometown gig by Rag ‘N’ Bone Man. Audience c6,000. The sound system was crystal clear (except for the unhappy VIP punters, according to reports, who were in the main stand off to one side of the stage).
His band and backing vocalists were all in Brighton and Hove Albion FC shirts! He said he’d be in one too, but they didn’t have one his size!
Two nice DJ sets from Norman Jay too.
Second on the bill Maverick Sabre also delivered a fine set.
Pity the event catering, outside of the considerable bar variety available (essentially three burger/chips/ hot dog vans) was so limited.
