chrisb 29th Aug 2022		When guitarists Andrew Cresswell-Davis and James ‘Crun’ Walter quit bluesy Griptight Thynn in the summer of 1969 to form this new more musically adventurous band they initially called the band The Vera Lynn Experience before settling on Stackridge Lemon. Crun switched to bass in this new outfit. After some lineup changes through 1969, Bill Bent (aka Billy Sparkle) was now in the drummers seat. Michael ‘Mutter’ Slater was a member of tonight's support band Pudding, and when that band dissolved was also invited to join Stackridge Lemon.
