| | Evgeni Shishkin you're right it was a fabulous show I distinctly remember them playing "Air" at the show too. It took a bit of fiddling about with Tina's mic set up but it was worth it. |

| | It was a great gig and, i think the first concert i attended on my own (no body else that i knew were into the band). Psycho Killer was brilliant! I loved how (despite some crazed feedback in Psycho Killer) they looked so NOT rock n roll wearing plain clothes and playing without the usual stage lights |

Lee Wrecker 20th Dec 2016
| | The correct date here could be anywhere between the 17th and 19th according to the band's concert history. The shot used here is not from the gig but from the back of my copy of Electrically a bootleg recorded in Dec 1978 at UCLA 6 months earlier. There were photos of this gig around and I did have some once but they have disappeared in the mists of time so I've used the picture above as it is from the same time and does reflect how the band looked at this show. I've scoured the net looking for other references to this gig but there is nothing. I can remember that it was a sit down show and I had second row seats. Other than that the Talking Heads were brilliant. Incidentally all the animal noises on Fear Of Music were recorded at Lone Pine in Brisbane while the band was here for this gig. |
